Corporate Australia is experiencing a definite a shift with organisations looking inwards with People and Culture a key components of companies corporate and social responsibilities.  By providing a more diverse and inclusive working environment, organisations are have a platform that allows employees to reach their full potential and to become more engaged both at work and at home.

In conjunction with our business members, we have identified that a focus on employees and their health and wellbeing can have a positive impact on performance.  There are opportunities to work on wellness in the workplace at both a group and organisational level by opening the discussion to find a clear delineation between an employees work, private life and the daily social and familial commitments.

Wellness in the workplace is not a new topic, but perhaps it is how it is approached that has changed.  All employees experience external responsibilities and pressures to their working life.  By identifying what motivates an individual is imperative to providing a support system that can assist employees in their current roles and in turn increase productivity and job satisfaction.

We have seen the struggle for senior executives to manage increasing work demands without impacting their relationships outside of work.  The impact on personal wellbeing seems to be particularly pertinent once a female executive reaches a certain level in their career.  This growth in their career can leave them feeling more vulnerable as they try to manage the demands of work and family life.

ES Lifestyle is currently working with clients who are implementing workplace wellbeing initiatives to increase staff engagement with higher productivity and lower workforce turnover, by finding new ways to motivate and support employees can become a powerful tool to attract and retain the highest calibre of staff.

One of the tools we are developing for our members is a white labelled concierge platform that outlines the list of services available to employees on a daily basis.  These services are customised to each organisation from the findings of research from individuals of the support they would find most valuable on a day-to-day basis.

The ES Lifestyle Concierge platform is designed to support employees via access to a Lifestyle Assistant and online platform to support them with some of their social responsibilities.  These requests can take on many forms, from school holiday activities, getting ready for sports activities with new gear, birthday parties, cupcakes for birthday celebrations at school, family holidays, scheduling annual medical appointments to sourcing a much needed trades people to come to their house.
